Dr. Kyriaki Neophytou is an Assistant Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience and Neuropsychology at the University of Nicosia in Athens (UNIC Athens), Greece. Her research focuses on the language abilities of individuals with post-stroke and primary progressive aphasia, and related disorders such as behavioral variant frontotemporal dementia (bvFTD) and Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI). Specifically, she studies the role of the two hemispheres in language processing and how this knowledge can inform targeted neuromodulation interventions.
Dr. Nina Schultz is Principal Research Scientist and Head of Biomarkers at Vesper Bio. She received her PhD in Neurobiology from Lund University and completed postdoctoral training in lysosomal biology at the University of California, San Francisco, followed by a second postdoctoral fellowship focused on biomarkers in neurodegeneration at Lund University. With 13 years of experience in neuroscience and biomarker research, her work centers on identifying and developing clinically meaningful biomarkers for neurodegenerative disease. At Vesper Bio, she leads the biomarker strategy underpinning the company’s clinical programs.
