The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (AFTD) has released a new press release welcoming the International Society for Frontotemporal Dementias (ISFTD) to Philadelphia ahead of the 15th ISFTD Conference, taking place October 8–11, 2026.
The release highlights AFTD’s support for ISFTD and the importance of bringing together researchers, clinicians, and members of the FTD community from around the world to exchange discoveries, strengthen collaborations, and accelerate scientific progress.
AFTD also highlights its broader work with ISFTD to strengthen the Society and support the development and implementation of its first formal strategic framework. This partnership is helping create new activities and opportunities for the international FTD research community.
At ISFTD 2026, AFTD will sponsor Caregivers Day on October 9 and will be represented through the inaugural Holly Hayes Lecture on FTD, delivered by former AFTD CEO Susan L-J Dickinson.
ISFTD is grateful for AFTD’s continued support and shared commitment to strengthening the global FTD research community.
